Ah, right--new Python::Bytecode

Since I was tired of the fail messages from the CPAN testers, the generic failures on Win32, and needed some reasonable printing for debugging and code analysis, I uploaded Python::Bytecode 2.7 to CPAN. (Or snag it from that link there if you want it)

Its been awefully quiet on the Piethon blog. Are things going ok?? (I hope so)

Im just being nosy, I would really hate for you to lose this bet as I believe parrot (right now) is the single most strategically important open source project. If we can all (Perl/Python/Tcl/Expect/Ruby/PHP) join forces we will be unbeatable.

Dan is gone for a week or so, I believe--as for the bet, I think pie is likely, but we'll see. Look in languages/python to see what progress Leo is making on his translator. Last I heard on the list, some of the code from b2 ran at least 2x faster, but the big problem will be compatibility.
