Hey, buddy! Have a hat!
In a rare burst of common sense, I passed the Parrot design lead hat on. Chip Salzenburg, past perl pumpkin, has agreed to take on the hat, which I'm quite happy about. Chip's a sharp guy, and I have no worries that between Chip and Leo that Parrot's in good hands.
I expect the news'll not take too many people by surprise, as it was past due. I've been essentially missing the past few months, with Real Life (pesky thing that -- I think I disapprove) getting in the way.

Good to see an updae in here at last!
So what can we expect now? Now that you‘ve passed the hat, which seat will you take?
From now on? Mostly I'm dealing with the other things taking up my time. I'm just a regular user of parrot, albeit one with more knowledge of how it works than is good for my sanity. :)
Basically your situation with Perl 5, no?
Not quite the same. Perl 5's done, so there's not much in the way of implementation that needs doing. There's still a lot of parrot that needs implementing, so there's more to get involved with.
