Though I'm not saying what I have faith in them to do. Still, Oingo Boingo does say it best, don't they? Nasty Habits and Clowns of Death (since, after all, boys will be boys...) Mmmm, clowns.

Posted by: Steven at June 7, 2004 11:49 AMJust a good day to be in a bad (well, OK, nasty and cynical) mood.
Not, mind, that more Oingo Boingo in the world would be a bad thing for other reasons.
Posted by: Dan at June 7, 2004 01:04 PMAh, well as long as we're talking Oingo Boingo -- Man, I miss those guys. I made it down to L.A. for their final show (Halloween, 1995), which totally rocked, of course. (Although I couldn't hear the words to Clowns of Death -- I only heard it for real when I got the Farewell album.)
Danny's film music just doesn't do it for me. Batman was cool, but for years, everything he did after that sounded the same. I guess he's finally starting to be less repetitive, but it's still nothing like the diversity he showed in Boingo.
And speaking of which, I loved the direction that the album Boingo went -- very different from what they had done in the 80s. It would have been so exciting to see what directions they would have gone.
Oh well, we still have some damn fine albums.
More parrot updates kind sir!
