It's alive! Or, at least, officially on the web. September 15-17, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Short of something going horribly, terribly wrong at work, I'll be there.
Now to work out transport details. (It's a lot cheaper to fly into Dublin from Boston than to Belfast, but then there's that whole pesky "get to belfast" thing...)
Posted by Dan at February 3, 2004 08:58 AM | TrackBack (0)Me and a coworker have been considering the same option as flights from Boston are so cheap. It looks like there's a train from Dublin to Belfast that takes 2 hours.
Posted by: Gavin at February 3, 2004 10:30 AMCool -- I rather like trains.
The funny thing is that, if I go alone (not, mind, that that is going to happen, what with this in Ireland and all--my wife's going to come I'm sure, though I may well be abandoned while there :) it's actually cheaper, less hassle, and possibly less time, to go to YAPC::EU for me than to go to YAPC::NA. Go figure...

Posted by: Gavin at February 3, 2004 07:24 PMYou could always fly into London and then go to Belfast from Luton. Flights on easyjet can be extremely cheap if booked well in advance. Just another option.
